Personal Log entry number 1: It has been my pleasure to come aboard this vessel. I have talked with the commander, and been given the position of Chief Medical Officer. Since then I have been going over star fleet medical files and overseeing the emplacement of medical kits around the ship. There has been only one incidence of which to report as uncalming. That would be my temporarily emplacement in the brig for being deemed as a threat. It is still a mystery to my own self how I happened to come on board and what is my origins. It would seem as if I suffer from acute memory loss or possibly amnesia, but it is much different then the normal states of such. I have my memory it is just fragmented and duplicated in such a manner that what comes to me appears to be that of several occurances. This could be due to an alteration in time consistancies, or just a casualty of my imagination.

Duty Log entry #1: I have asked Cmdr Davies to resupply the ship with medicines produced from his lab. Among the list of drugs I have asked for are: BENJUSIDRINE - incase our vulcan crewmembers develop heart conditions.
CHLOROMYDRIDE - For cardio stimulation on any stunned patients
Cordrazine - For electrical burns
Corophizine - an anti-biotic used in preventing secondary illnesses of the aphasia virus, I don't know that we will need that one, but an extra anti-biotic would be useful.
Delactovin - to stimulate the nervous system I will be placing this one in the med kits
Dexalin - for oxygen deprivation
Formazine - also another stimulant
Hyronalyn - For radiation sickness, I expect we will run out of this quite fast, so I have ordered enough to place in each med kit and enough to treat the crew once.
Inaprovaline - Cardio Stimulatory, for stabilzation
Kayolene - A sedative, I am expecting to use this one probably as often as the hyronlyn.
Kelotane - for radiation burns as well as sickness. I will inevitably treat a few engineers with this one. Radiation burns can be a nasty thing, especially when the uniform has to be removed from the burn.
Leporazine - For resuscitation... I would imagine I would use this one as often as kayolene.
Lexorin- I don't know that I will have to use this one, unless one of our Vulcan's is certain of death. Yet I have asked for a small amount to be produced.
Medecillian- I have asked for enough of this for each medkit as well as a supply for sick bay, It is always good to have another antibiotic.
Melorazine - Another sedative, I would expect that I should only be using this in extreme situations.
Phetetalin - one of the stronger anti-biotics worthwhile, but I will have to judge when such use is needed.
PolyAdrenaline - For the effects of the hormone epinephrine, Interesting as I don't know why we would need this except in the rare case of a defeciency, which could be treated by another means... possibly the right nutritional diets. So I have only asked for a small amount.
Rexalin - for sedation and pain reducer, I have asked for a large amount 3 vials for each medkit, and aditional 20 vials to use in sickbay
Stokaline - I will have to limit the use of this medication to one dose per a week per a humanoid. But it is a useful resuscitive, prolong use may result in ineffectiveness.
Tricordrazine - neurostimulant, used for neural injury. I hope that I won't have to use this, but I know that I probably will.
Tri-ox compound - For easy breathing in thin atmosphere. It is my opinion that this could be dangerous if taken repeatidly to avoid shelter or standard settings atmospheric controls. I have asked for it just the same becuase it is needed for away team missions... but I would limit the time spent on such a mission to one hour, max of four with the adminsitration of dexalin every fifteen minutes depending on the situation.
Vertazine - can counteract the effects of vertigo/nausea, I have asked for a good supply of it for those that might squmish or if there is a slight variation in the inertia dampers. Plus several other factors could cuase vertigo.
I will put in a request for a small supply of TLD (Tryptophan lysine Distillates) for the testing of micro bio-organic threats such as bacteria and viruses as soon as the medicines are produced.
I have yet to look over sickbay, but the security chief has said she would emplace a guard to see I make it there when I pick up the medicines.
I have also asked for training in the modification of a phaser to a autosuture. I would be interested in the creation of a bio-regenative field through the devices normal present in an away team, other then a medical kit. Perhaps parts of the communicatorthe, phaser, and science tricorder could all be used in conjunction to form a bio-regenative field.

Duty log entry #2: I have been trying to round up medical supplies for the comming battle. So far I have only been successful in obtaining the ships supply of alchohol. Cmdr Davies turned down my request for medicines. Will will have to make due.
I have decided to go to the Cmdr for advice. I approached him but he was buisy, but I am sure he will speak with me when he has the time.
I treated my first patients today. It started with Lt Norton and Cmdr Paris. They were attempting to create a personal cloaking device. I detected radiation in the armory where Lt Norton was present. I notified Cmdr Paris, when she suggested we come to inoculate all personel present. When I came I first gave Lt norton a dose of Hyronalyn, when I asked for the location of Cmdr Paris. I began scanning the room for radiation particles. It was determained they were coming from a point in the room. Then Cmdr paris turned off the cloaking device and appeared. I treated her for radiation poisioning, and then the captain entered the armory to discover what was going on. soon everyone was falling prey to the radiation poisoning. The captain activated the bio-filter. I called for an imediate beam to sickbay, and all four of us made it safely. I activated the emh, and told it to begin treating for radiation sickness.
The EmH did as I asked, and with the two of us we were able to treat all parties present in the armory sucessfuly. The radiation has since cleared and all parties present have stabolized, still I have asked they take it easy and hold off going straight into work. I have recommended a holodeck program for them to relax. The Emh will not let me leave the sick bay untill it is deamed safe for me to return to duty. I have taken the time to complete my logs.
End Log
Duty Log #3: I had a late call last night. Cmdr Paris had taken ill. From what I could tell it was the induction of alcohol to her blood stream. When I got the call she seemed to be functioning at a lower level of coherance. I quickly came to her quarters and and beamed her directly to sickbay.
She had quite a few bumps and bruises on her. She must have fallen quite a few times before I found her. The last one was a bump to the forhead when she fell and hit her head on the biobed. I managed to convince her to lay down after I had made my analysis. It was not easy work, but after I dimmed the lights and turned off my tricorder she gave in.
After I administered something for the toxin in her body and told her lay on her side. She fell asleep. I left the Emh program in charge of her for the night. I had to get some rest. I had been up for 24 hours.
End log.
Personal Log #2: I have been invited to a wedding. It will be between Cmdr Paris and Cmdr Davies. They are to be married on the holodeck. I am glad Cmdr Paris and I are getting along. We had been sort of at ends when I first came aboard, but I think that was mostly becuase I was a possible security threat. Now that the ship has learned to trust me a little, I think its quaint that we can get along.
End log.
Duty log #4: After finishing treating all the crew from the battle. Miral Paris came to me asking for the schematics for neral pathways and information on neral imaging. It is a strange thing, I stalled at first, but she was persistant so I gave her the information. I don't know that she will be able to come up with anything. The technology hasn't progressed far enough to destabolize the nerons in the brain, and as a doctor I could not support that. I have come to terms with the idea, and decided that a device that puts someone to sleep could be useful medically. The alpha wave inducer could be modified to perform this task. It would act as a powerful sleep suggestor.
I have also treated the captain's heart and Lt commander Dnaren's foot. They are both recovering in sickbay.
END Log
Lt Sommity Duty log #5: I have begun the process of giving the ship evaluations. So far I have not examined any of the Department heads or the Captain. Hopefully they will stop by soon. It would be nice if the department heads would show an example and come early, but unfortunately things don't always work that way. I am confident that they will come when they have the time.
END LOG
Duty Log #6: I am still waiting for the rest of the crew to stop by for evaluations. So far the only senior officer I have seen was Ambassador Dnaren. I had to prolong the evaluation do to an emergency. One of the crew, Lt Comander Norton was in bad shape. He is recovering, and should be able to leave sickbay in a couple of hours.
While I was treating Commander Miral Richardson, and commander Norton, Dnaren came back with a disruptor burn. I have treated her, and she is recovering quite well. I have released her to change into a new uniform.
On another note, my new assistant or Deputy chief has arrived on the ship. I expect him to fullfill his duties in the same manor that made him so highly recomended by the CMO of the last ship he served on.
End Log.
Duty log #7: The evaluations are going smoothly, with the exception of a few mishaps. Only a few Senior staff members have yet to be examined. I am still waiting on the captain and our first officer to come for a routine check up.
Other then the examinations, there was only only a few mishaps. Commander Miral Richardson, proved to be more then a hand ful. I had to sedate her, but she is well recovering in the brig.
Michael Davies was found in rough shape, the sole survior of an accident. I have him under our care. Although he was badly wounded, I am sure he will recover quite quickly.
On another note I have been taking an inventory of what we have for equipment and medicines. We should have enough supplies for quite some time.
End Log.
Sommity began to make a log.
Sommity's Log # 8: It has been quite sometime since I have recorded a personel log. Perhaps... well... I can not think of any reason why...
Let just say I have been careless and carefree these past few weeks.
That is why it is good that the Commander has begun an extensive training program. I am looking forward to seeing some exceptional results, and I think Commander Hexenton is a fair grader. I will do what I can.
End personel log.
Duty Log #8: I have been away from duties for the past couple of weeks. It has been a good rest, and I would like to get back to duty. Lt Riett will be happy to see another friendly face in sickbay.
I have been going over the medical logs Riett and the other medical personel have recorded over the last few weeks. It seems to be mostly minor injuries and exemplorary treatments and hard work from Riett and the crew. I'd say we've begun to have a fine time all around.
End Log.
Duty Log #9: I have been reviewing the medical database for any information on romulan physiology that would explain the peculiar readings taken of the captured Romulan senator. However, I have found nothing.
The Senator seems to be no threat to the ship, but the unusual readings collected still remain. Whats even stranger is that the nature of the readings seem to suggest the Senator is in perfect health.
I am beginning to wonder if perhaps they were forged or posibly inacurate. The chances of a physiology of that nature, one that contains no virus or bacteria is impossible.
Mainly becuase the bacteria is required in many sub systems of both Human and Vulcan physiology, and certianly traces of viral would remain in the immune system.
I am beginning to wonder what the nature of the captive is or what they are doing aboard. I will find out in the morning when the senator is brought to sickbay.
End Log
Personal Log: I have been investigating the captive we are holding on board. Still it seems unclear as to how or why she was brought on board. I do not like the idea as it may be treading on deep water. That is we could be risking war if the senator is mistreated.
One things for sure, the diplomat who negotiates for the mistakes we've made will be having one heck of a time. That is unless the senator is here to negotiate terms with us. The true nature of the senator's pressence aboard this ship will be revealed eventually, for now it is just a matter of making sure she is not a threat to this ship as far as contagions go.
According to the records, she carried no illness in her body, but then she was also absent of all forms of illnesses, either she is some sort of special hybrid of genetically altered dna or someone did a sloppy job at forging the report.
That is something I will have to investigate further, as any failure to report sickness could jepordize the safety of this ship.
